Therefore, being the owner of Common Sense Insurance Agency and Consulting, LLC began with the upmost passion of helping individual consumers and company employees make sense of their healthcare and financial planning options.  I have over 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial planning industry and was an academic educator for the Ouachita Parish School system for 10 years.  I have worked in various capacities, state, federal and corporate segments. My professional expertise is in the areas of sales, accounting, underwriting, marketing, financial and estate planning consultation. Also, I became a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist in 2015 and has continued with all of the honors, rights and privileges to help individuals with Marketplace selections and enrollment. I specialize in educating, marketing and selling the following plans: Medicare Advantage, Supplements, Prescription Drug, Hospital Indemnity, Cancer, Critical Illness, Life, Health insurance (individual and commercial group), Dental, Vision, Annuities and Long-Term Care products in the states of Louisiana, California, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Arkansas, Alabama and Mississippi. 

I have been awarded on several occasions for my volunteerism in the community, participated in local and national commercials, as well as "Top Sales Agent" of the year.
